As seen on The Block 2014, our Universal Mac series stair with LETO Bamboo Treads. This stair much praised stair was selected by Brad and Dale as it met their brief for a warm, sophisticated staircase to connect the entrance foyer to the main living space and up again to the roof deck. As The Age put it “Its spiral staircase with Bamboo tread is both impressive and practical, set back from the front door to allow space for foot traffic and hinting at the quality of finish ahead.”.
The stainless steel complimented the warm Bamboo finish perfectly. Perhaps the most impressive thing about the project was the fact that the Bamboo treads looked as good as new after and estimated 10,000 people walked up and down the stair on the open day demonstrating that the Bamboo offers more than just attractiveness, it’s a high quality hard-wearing material which offers the warmth and character of timber with the performance of stone or steel.
